As there is a tendency in professional life to forget people as a success factor for growth and development, Fruit Tree's ambition is to support and advise people and teams who find themselves in challenging circumstances. This includes directors and supervisors of large organisations facing issues of governance, leadership and change, as well as less experienced individuals at a crossroads in their (professional) lives.
Fruit Tree's starting point is always the same: People
Processes, systems, structures and technology change, but people have to find their way through it all. By paying attention to this through dialogue, reflection, and small experiments, Fruit Tree's clients gain essential insights and experiences that contribute to real change, personal growth and effective handling of complex organisational issues.

Founded by Pelle Engel in 2020
Pelle (1971) has gained experience in many different responsible roles in the financial sector. His interest in why people do what they do, and his insight that it is often the people who make the difference, allowed him to develop in a highly valued trusted advisor and coach to executives, non-executives, and (young) professionals in both corporate and public environments. Pelle holds a degree in economics from the University of Amsterdam, is a trained business mediator from the Amsterdam Institute for Dispute Resolution and has an Executive Master in Change from INSEAD Fontainebleau.
